Description de la conférence (en anglais)

An open discussion on the futur of jobs in the context of AI deployment. How many jobs will be left for humans once software such as automated cars, intelligent assistants or even crime fighting prediction will be deployed on a worldwide scale? Will we see a massive change of the nature of most of our job? Is this going to be for the better or for the worst?

Points debated:

  • Are you optimistic or pessimistic about the future? Will technology free us from boring and repetitive tasks or do you anticipate a large scale proletarianization effect?
  • How many jobs will be left for humans once software such as automated cars, intelligent assistants or even crime fighting prediction will be deployed on a worldwide scale? Is there a risk for a massive job destruction? Who is at risk?
  • Will we see a massive change of the nature of most of our job ? Is this going to be for the better or for the worst? How can we open the AI black box?
  • What can we do to help today's workers in the transition?
  • How can we shape our own destiny? How do we rebuild the social ladder and the safety nets of tomorrow's society?
